Case #45837: Four months after surgery, you're looking at the result of a breast reduction performed on a 47-year-old woman. Before surgery she wore an I bra size; and the surgery brought her down to a D. The anchor pattern uses three incision lines: around the areola, vertically down to the breast crease, and along the crease itself. That approach allows removal of a significant amount of tissue and skin while repositioning the nipple-areola complex higher on the breast mound. The after photo shows the incision lines still pink and maturing at the four-month mark, which is expected at this stage of healing.
