Case #45721: This is a breast augmentation case for a woman in her early thirties who started at an A cup and is shown nine months after surgery at a D cup. Implants were placed submuscularly through an inframammary crease incision, a position that uses the chest muscle to provide coverage over the upper portion of the implant. That placement is often chosen for patients with limited existing breast tissue, since the muscle adds a layer between the implant and the skin. The after photo shows the result at the nine-month mark, when post-surgical swelling has fully resolved and the implants have settled.
