Case #46020: This is a mastopexy case performed on a 29-year-old female patient, shown six months after surgery. Even though there is not much overall breast tissue, you can see in the before photo that the breasts are sagging and in a low-position. Dr. Orna Fisher performed the breast lift to reposition the tissue and nipple-areola complex to a higher position, which mostly removes excess skin, compared with a breast reduction that removes more breast tissue. The procedure moved the patient from a ptotic B cup to a perky A cup. You can see in the after photo that the breasts sit higher on the chest, with the tissue supported in its new position. At the six month mark, the tissues normally will drop more, but since there is so little breast tissue, it will take longer for the shape to stabilize. Nipples are covered upon patient request.
