Case #46112: This is a mastopexy case performed on a 21-year-old. The scar pattern involves three incisions: one around the areola, one running vertically down to the breast fold, and one along the fold itself. With this technique, Dr. Fisher repositioned the nipple-areola complex higher on the breast mound and remove excess skin and, in this case, a small amount of breast tissue. The after photo shows the breast sitting higher on the chest and the nipples sitting higher on the breast mounds. The anchor incision pattern visible and still in early healing. Scar maturation is only starting now at the 3 month mark and will continue over the year. At this stage it almost looks like implants were used, but that is temporary and the tissues will soften and descend for a natural look.
