Case #45843: This is a combined breast reduction and accessory axillary breast tissue excision case in a woman in her mid-sixties. The plan addressed two separate concerns at once: very large breasts requiring reduction due to associated symptoms, and accessory breast tissue located in the axillary region in front of the armpit. You can see in the after photo, taken at six months, that the axillary fullness visible in the before image is no longer present, the scar for that part of the surgery is hidden in the armpit. The breasts sit noticeably higher on the chest wall with a much smaller overall footprint. You can see that after surgery, posture has improved significantly as well. These are separate surgeries for separate issues but can be done at the same time when both issues are present. Text or call (650) 460-7260 to schedule your consultation with Dr. Orna Fisher to discuss accessory axillary breast tissue excision, breast reduction, or both.
